On the 1st of December 2022, MITRE Australia opened a new facility in Canberra, Australia. The facility, located in the Brindabella Business Park, will support the company's growing engagement with the Australian government and other business sectors. Through establishing agreements with UNSW and other organisations, MITRE Australia was able to develop new solutions that will help strengthen Australia's defense and security. These solutions will also help address the various challenges that the country faces in the Indo-Pacific region.
The goal of the collaboration with UNSW and other institutions is to develop new technologies that will help improve the country's broad security needs and advance whole-of-nation solutions.
